Under the federal No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022), healthcare providers must inform uninsured, self-pay, and out-of-network clients that they may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate at any time, either before starting or at any point during counseling.
Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how your personal health information is used, shared, and protected under federal privacy law. Clients sign the Notice of Privacy Practices as part of the intake paperwork.
Crisis Support Services
- Crisis Response for Benton and Franklin Counties — Provides acute and emergent mental health intervention services 24 hours a day.
- Greater Columbia Behavioral Health Regional Crisis Hotline — Serving Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Kittitas, Walla Walla, Whitman, and Yakima Counties and the Yakama Nation with medically necessary Behavioral Health Crisis Services.
- National Suicide Prevention Lifeline — Talk to a compassionate, trained crisis counselor available 24 hours a day.
- My Friend's Place Safe Harbor Support Center — Shelter for homeless youth ages 13–17 as well as food, clothing, and case management.
Substance Use Disorder and Addiction Services
- Ideal Option — Intensive outpatient and outpatient services for adults only whose primary diagnosis is opioid dependence.
- Merit Resource Services — Assessment and referral for alcohol and drug addictions, intensive outpatient and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children.
- First Step Community Counseling Services — Offers chemical dependency assessment and treatment.
- Recovery and Wellness Center of Eastern Washington — Assessment and intensive outpatient programs for treatment of eating disorders, depression, and anxiety for adolescents and adults; takes state insurance.
Sexual Assault & Sex Trafficking Services
- Support Advocacy & Resource Center (SARC) — Assistance for victims and/or families and friends of sexual assault and/or abuse, available 24 hours a day.
- Mirror Ministries — Helps local victims of sex trafficking.
Domestic Violence Services
